Was born in Kirov area in 1952. In shool days took part in exhibitions of Kamishin artists. In 1978 has succesfully finished the Moscow pedagogical institute, art-graphic faculty.

Since 1989 works as the teacher of the fine arts and plotting in high school. Many works by Olga Vakhonina have been got by judges of fine arts in private foreign colections in the USA, Germany, Israel. As the artist-illustrator took part in publishing of some literary and art books.

Since 1997 is the consistant participant of the art exhibitions spent in Saratov (Volga region).
