Akhvlediani Elena was born in 1901 in Georgia. She is the Soviet painter and theatre artist. Honored artist of Georgian Soviet republic since 1960.

She studied in Tbilisi Art Academy since 1922 and in Italy and Paris since 1922 till 1927. Akhvlediani is master of landscape, she loves views of native city Tbilisi. The artist created illustration for publications of Ninoshvili, Chavtchavadze and Longdello in 1930s. Worked in more than 60 films and plays in the theatre. Worked in theatres of Georgia, Russia and Ukraine. The artist has 2 State medals.
