Was born on March, 6, 1923 in village Dobrinka of the Voronezh area. Graduated the Saratov art school in 1953.

A.D.Panov - one of the most characteristic artists of the Saratov landscape tradition. From the teachers G.J.Melnikov and A.V.Skvortsov he has apprehended P.S.Utkin's manner.
