Artist Maslov Vladimir was born in 1934 in ancient city Kalyazin on the river Volga. He spent his childhood in the local forests, on the banks of Volga, between boats. In the years of his youth he worked as house-painter, fireman, artist-designer.

In the country-side this wish to paint is strange. Because of this the artist tried to go far away from people in the fields, in the forests. He is silent, austere person. Glory has found him without his desire.

He likes to watch and represent different nature motives and there’s nothing impossible to show any color for the artist. Author shows the process of moving, just exactly alive things.

His workshop is in the old wood house right on the bank of the Volga. There are a lot of lilac-bushes and wry fence. The artist doesn’t want to replace it because of very beautiful moss on it. We can see in the workshop old ship chain, big bell, dry flowers and birds nest.
