Sarumyan Sergey, 1950

Sergey Sarumyan was born in August 1950 in Stepanakert in Nagorney Karaback. In 1967 he moved to , its capital Yerevan . He went to art school there. In 1970 he graduated from Moscow Public State University of Art by correspondence. In 1973 he entered Yerevan Art Institute at the department of industrial drawings.

After his graduation Sergey Sarumyan began to work in the State Museum of Revolution in as a graphic artist. In 1980 Sergey Sarumyan moved to Moscow where Moscow art world enriched his interpretation of the world and formed his aesthetic credo. He started working in poster and easel-painting sphere in which he made success. From 1985 till 1988 he was an adviser of artistic school of Sevastopol region in Moscow .
